Style of presentation – 8 points

2 – articulate, intonation, speaking clearly, volume

2 - good eye contact with class and other team

2 - enthusiasm, professional attitude

2 – speaking to class with minimal reading, when reading, paraphrasing afterwards

 

Content of presentation – 12 points

5 - understanding of material

5 - detail in arguments

2 - relevancy of information presented

 

Group assessment – 30 points total content and style

6 -  Number and explanation of arguments presented, demonstrating understanding of theory and its components

6 -  Number and explanation of counter arguments offered, demonstrating understanding of theory

3 – Relevancy of material used in arguments (quality of arguments), pertaining to theory, useful in proving points

5 – Relation to real world, e.g. citing real world examples, not simply abstract, unrealistic hypothetical arguments

2 -  Citing of sources to back up points made, using quotes

8 -  (style) Logical flow to presentation of material, organization, coordinated effort among group members, demonstrating being prepared having done research

 

Written work – 50 points
