CLASSICAL CRIMINOLOGY THEORY
COURSE DOCUMENTS
![]()
NOTICE: Due to the power failure on Thursday late afternoon, November 13th, the university cancelled classes despite the fact that the power came back on shortly after 7 p.m.. What is currently scheduled still stands, with the only change being 3 presentations during the next class on November 20th (Control theories presentation has been moved - other presentations remain as the modified hurricane schedule).
If you were going to hand in a reflection report or group presentation project report during the November 13th class, you MUST email me this text as an attachment in word by midnight today, Friday November 14th, (note that sometimes the time you email me may not correspond to the time I receive your email), or drop off a hard copy of your work with the secretary of the dept. in McNally South 4th floor and she will put it in my mailbox, otherwise it will be MARKED LATE. If you email me your work, you MUST still provide me with a hard copy, again either by dropping off the work with the secretary or bringing a hard copy to the next class. Control theories discussion questions will be due next class when the presentation takes place. Presenters for the class of Nov. 20th, must stick to the 30 minute maximum time for presenting.
NOTE: The last reflection reports are due in class on December 4th, and these would be for Tannenbaum and/or Becker. No reflection reports can be submitted for Schur or Goffman - see course outline for this.
NOTE: As per the administration of SMU's decision, there will be a class held on Thursday, December 4th, therefore we do not in effect lose a week due to the school being closed for a week due to the hurricane.
