Select a population group to focus on with the signup sheet distributed in class.
Peruse urban sociology academic journals with the intention of finding an article pertaining to the population group you have selected. The urban sociological problem addressed by the article is your choice, as long as the article specifically deals with the population group you are focusing on.
Provide copies of the article for all other classmates and the professor the week prior to your presentation.
Write up and provide an annotated bibliography along with the copy of the article to the class the week prior to your presentation.
Prepare and lead a discussion based on this article and the selected population group. You are not to solely lecture, you must engage the class interactively.
Presentations will take place February 14th, 21st & 28th.
