It is my greatest pleasure to invite you to participate in the 33rd Annual APICS/CIC Student Chemistry Conference. This year’s conference will be held at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from May 8th to 11th, 2008. Every year this conference gives the opportunity for students from across the Atlantic Provinces to share their research, through oral and poster presentations, while learning a great deal from other students and professional participants. This year will not disappoint; our organizing committee has been diligently working to make this year’s conference just as exciting as years past. I would also like to extend a warm welcome and thank you to our keynote speakers Dr. Warren Piers, from the University of Calgary, and Dr. Philip Jessop, form Queen’s University. For information on either speaker please refer to "The Keynotes" section. I am extremely excited to have such innovative chemists join us as speakers.
