Welcome to the 33rd Annual APICS/CIC Undergraduate Chemistry Conference website. The conference is presented by the Saint Mary's Univeristy Chemistry Society and will be held on May 8-11, 2008 at Saint Mary's University in the beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia. This website will be your source for information as the conference approaches, so please stay tuned for updates as they become available.

May 8, 2008 - Registration will open at 11am which coincides with the Graduate School and Career Fair that will run from 11am to 2:30 pm. Delegates will be attending from the University of New Brunswick, the University of Victoria, NSERC, the University of Alberta, Concordia University, the University of Windsor, Simon Fraser University, Saint Mary's University, the University of Western Ontario, McGill University, and the Canadian Society for Chemistry.

A Presentation by NSERC will be made from 2:45-3:30.

Please also note that the abstracts book is available for download. It contains an updated and detailed schedule.

April 28, 2008 - Due to an overwhelming response, we have been required to shorten all oral presentations to approximately 12-13 minutes with 2-3 minutes for questions. We currently have confirmed almost 40 oral presentations to be covered over the final two days of the conference. Please accept our apologies for the change this close to the event. April 23, 2008 - Notice to everyone that the deadline for registration and abstract submission has been moved until Monday, April 28, 2008. No abstracts will be accepted after this date. The menus for both the Waterfront Warehouse Dinner (optional, Friday evening) and the Conference Banquet (optional, Saturday evening) are now available for download from The Schedule page.

March 24, 2008 - Notice: Completed registration forms should now be sent to chemcon08@smu.ca. The organizing committee sincerely apologizes for any confusion as a result of this change.
